I’m Julia Slatcher. I believe that travel leads to greater empathy and a kinder world and also that it enriches one’s own life immeasurably. Experiencing other cultures and lands has always been an essential part of my life. In my previous career in international public health, I arranged (and went on) over 20 customized trips all over the world for over 100 VIPs. I am passionate about travel planning and want to help others get the very most out of their traveling.

I’ve traveled to over 60 countries. When I was 13, I lived in France for a year with a French family. In high school, I spent summers doing community service in the West Indies and Ecuador. In college, I returned to Ecuador to strengthen my Spanish, living with a family in Quito for a semester. My husband, Rich, our kids and I have criss-crossed the United States several times and lived and traveled overseas on multiple occasions. Best of all, we were able to spend a year living in Switzerland, due to my husband’s sabbatical. After living in many different parts in the U.S., I now reside in Athens, Georgia, with my husband and two teenage sons.

To increase my professional expertise and stay as current as possible in order to best serve my clients, I regularly travel to new (and familiar) destinations, complete online training courses, attend in-person and online professional events (training and networking). I am a specialist in African safaris, Tahiti, Fiji, Japan, Mexico, Costa Rica, South America, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Jamaica, Aruba, Belize, and the list goes on. As you can see, I don’t specialize in just one geographic area, because I love the variety too much! I do specialize in 4-5+ star vacations that bring you value, discovery and memories.
